About

I’m Anthony (宋品岳), a graduate student at NCCU and software intern. This blog documents my work in Python, R, LaTeX, and full-stack development.

Hi, I’m Anthony 👋

My full name is Pin Yue Sung, but feel free to call me Anthony. I’m a student at National Chengchi University (NCCU), majoring in International Business — and yes, I somehow ended up deep in the world of software along the way.

Alongside my studies, I work as a software intern at a tech company, where I get to turn caffeine and curiosity into actual products.

What I Build

I work across the full stack — from backend APIs to mobile apps. Here’s what I reach for most often:

What This Blog Is About

This is a space for tutorials and technical writing, focused on topics I genuinely use and care about:

  • Python — from scripting to building full web applications
  • R — data analysis, visualization, and statistical thinking
  • LaTeX — because good typesetting matters

The goal is simple: write the guides I wish I had when I was learning. If something here saves you a few hours of frustration, that’s a win.

Stay curious.

Beyond the Screen

When I’m not coding, I’m probably in the kitchen experimenting with Chinese cuisine — the kind of cooking that takes patience and rewards it. Food, to me, is its own kind of creative problem-solving.

Music-wise, I’m a dedicated EDM listener. My taste leans toward Trance and House, and Avicii remains my all-time favorite — his music is proof that something digital can still feel deeply human.
